Google has rolled out its new online job search feature called Google jobs for job seekers to make it easier to connect with employers straight from the Google search page. Google Jobs will make life easier for job seekers.
How Google Jobs Work?
All you need to do is, just type and search for jobs, like “jobs in Hyderabad, Marketing jobs, Jobs for MBA graduates.” Google’s AI (Artificial Intelligence) based smart job search feature can find relevant job matches according to your location and show them right on the Google Search screen.
Google jobs have customised filters where end users can filter job search on their own priority basis. Google claimed it is partnered with several leading job search companies like Career Builder, Monster, Glass Door, Wayup, Facebook, Linkedin and some Direct Employers. So, all that jobs posted any those site will be displayed on Google search. It seems like, there is no need for job seekers to log into different job search portals.
Google will allow the user to narrow down their job search according to their preferences, this will suggest more relevant job match to a job seeker. The user can search by filtering jobs by category, title, date posted, type, and even commute time. The user needs to sign in and share their location with Google to avail location-based Google jobs search filter.
The user can also set job alerts for jobs that match their requirements and preferences.
New AI and APIs based Google jobs feature will help the job seeker to find the right job and also helpful for employers to recruit the right candidate.
As part of this, Google also introduced Cloud Jobs API (Currently in private alpha stage). This will be going to play a major role in Google jobs, it’ll let companies put their openings in search, later which will be displayed on the search page when a user search for jobs.
