Samsung launched the Galaxy C9 Pro in India on Wednesday. The Galaxy C9 Pro is a mid-range Samsung phone that was first launched in China in October 2016 at a price of 3,199 CNY (roughly Rs 31,700). In India, the phone has been priced at Rs 36,900, a little higher than the company’s Galaxy A9 Pro that retails for Rs 32,490.
The Galaxy C9 Pro will be available for pre-booking through select stores and online platforms from January 27. It will be available for buying from retail channels in the latter half of February 2017, the company announced.
The Galaxy C9 Pro is pretty high-end in terms of hardware specs. The phone comes with a 6-inch 1080p AMOLDED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor clubbed with 6 gigs of RAM under the hood. The all-metal C9 Pro comes with a front-mounted fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C for charging and data syncing. The phone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery which supports fast charging.
